The SCAPA cup has reached the semi final stage. Braughing have won the first leg of their semi final 8-0 (53-23) over Bedmond to put themselves in a commanding position to make the final. They will play either Symonds Green or Little Hadham in the final.

Symonds Green have put themselves into a strong position to win the first division. They have 43 points from seven matches played. Stanstead Abbotts trail by 17 points but do have two fixtures in hand. Defending champions Essendon are struggling to stay in the division as they have just four points from their four matches played.

Following completion of the Six Counties event the final season performance table has been updated. Criag Hearn and Ben Summerifeld both finished the season on 44 points (from 30 matches), Craig just edging first place with a superior shot difference. Congratulations to Steve Lee, Rebecca Hearn, Craig Hearn and Ben Summerfield who are our new county fours champions after beating Mary Grethe, Mike Bennett, Roy Grethe and David Danby in the final. Special congratulations to Steve and Ben who won their first county title.

Mike Bennett, Roy Grethe and David Danby of Braughing recently won our county triples after defeating Dave Smith, Stuart Palmer and Andy Cobbold (Symonds Green / Stanstead Abbotts) in a good final. Special congratulations to Mike Bennett who secured his first county title. The guys will now go on to represent us at the ECCBA and ECBA champion of champions events.

The updated season points total has now been updated after our 25-11 win against Cambridgehsire.
Craig Hearn has taken the lead with 39 points from his 25 games (39/25). He leads by a single point from Ben Summerfiel (38/25). There is a group of six players two further points back who all have 36/28. They are Mick Cook, Sandra Gammage, Thomas Ellis, Jason Ellis, Jack Smalley and Harry Wilson. We completed the ECCBA league season on Sunday (18th March 2018.) with an impressive 25-11 away win at Cambridgeshire. The win was not enough to win the league as Suffolk won 30-6 at Norfolk to finish six points above us. Congratulations to Suffolk on securing another league title.
The win did ensure that we finished as runners up. We also recorded our highest ever points total (112), won all of our away games and for the first time won four games in a single season. Well do...
