Division 1 Update

The first division is approaching its conclusion with just one game left to play. The league table on the links below is missing a 4-4 draw between Symonds Green & Stanstead Abbotts. Thefore, the final fixture is Essendon at home to Symonds Green. Anything other than an 8-0 loss will be good enough to secure Essendon the title.

Final Season Performance 16-17

Following the completion of the final event on Sunday (09-04-17), the final points total list has been updated. Congratulations to Thomas Ellis who finished top of the list on 42 points. This is the highest total recorded since the statistics began (2013/2014). Thomas finished two points ahead of Sandra Gammage & David Danby, there was then a gap of a further five points to Jason Ellis & Jack Smalley.

5th Place Finish at Six Counties

We travelled to Braintree Leisure Centre on Sunday (09-04-2017) to compete in the ECCBA Six Counties Event. In a disappointing day we finished in 5th place, although we were only four points behind second placed Cambridgeshire. Suffolk won the event for the third year in a row.

Herts team for Six Counties

We travel to Braintree Leisure Centre on Sunday (09-04-17) to take part in the ECCBA Six Counties event being hosted by Essex. We had a great performance in this event last year, narrowly missing out on the title and finishing runners up to Suffolk. The team chosen to represent Hertfordshire this year is as follows;

A reminder that the closing date for the county fours being held at Applecroft School on Sunday 23rd April is this Sunday (9th April). Please encourage your club members to enter this event.

Symonds Green win County Triples

Congratulations to Thomas Ellis, Jack Smalley & Jason Ellis who won the county triples on Sunday (02-04-17). In an all Symonds Green final they defeated Tim Smalley, Rebecca Hearn & Craig Hearn in a good final. Jason has now won all four county titles, a great achievement in a short period of time. Season Performance (Combined)

Now that we have completed our ECCBA league season we have been able to update the ongoing season points total list. The statistics start from the beginning of the 2013/2014 season. We have a new leader as David Danby moves to the top of the standings with 68 points, just ahead of Mary Cobbold on shot difference. Updated Season Performance

Following the match with Norfolk the season performance sheets have now been updated. With just the six counties left to play on the 9th April it is Thomas Ellis who leads the way on 37 points. He holds a two point advantage over Sandra Gammage and David Danby. Rebecca Hearn is a further point back in 4tjh place. Herts 15-21 Norfolk

We finished our ECCBA League season with a disappointing 21-15 loss at home to Norfolk. The result means we finished the season in 3rd place in the league behind Cambridgeshire (2nd) and the winners Suffolk. Congratulations to Suffolk who won the league for an amazing 7th year in a row with a record points total.
