SCAPA Results to date
Stanstead Abbotts 2 (24) – 6 (37) Symonds Green
Hertford Heath 6 (38) – 2 (23) Essendon
For the fourth season in a row Stanstead Abbotts play Symonds Green in the SCAPA Cup. Symonds Green won 7-1 in the final in 2012/2013. They repeated that success in 2013/2014 with a 9-7 quarter final win. In 2014/2015 the score was again 9-7, but this time in Stanstead Abbotts favour in the semi final. This year Symonds Green have taken a stranglehold on the tie with a 6-2 away win. Stanstead Abbotts have been left with an uphill task to turn around the 4 point and 13 shot deficit.
Essendon the defending champions also face an up hill task after Hertford Heath secured an impressive 6-2 win in the first leg. Hertford Heath have shown impressive league form this year and will now fancy their chances of advancing through to the semi finals to either play Shenley or Great Amwell.
