Further results coming in from the first division. In a battle of the two newly promoted teams it was honours even between Bedmond and Amwell as it finished in a 4-4 draw (+6 shots in Amwell's favour).
This result leave Amwell & Bedmond with work to do to keep up with the three teams above them. Bedmond have 5 points from 3 games, Amwell are three points better off with 8 points from the same number of games. Essendon are just the one point ahead of Amwel but they have a game in hand. Symonds Green and Stanstead Abbotts lead the way with 17 points from 3 matches.

The defending champions Little Hadham have progressed through to the semi-final of the SCAPA Cup. They were made to fight hard for their victory though by Hertford Heath as they come out on top 9 (86) - 7 (57).
The will face either Great Amwell or Essendon in the semi-final, with both legs of their quarter final tie being played in January.

Some further results in from the 2nd division. Hertford Heath have been on their travels as they have played away games at Braughing and Shenley. Unfortunately for Hertford Heath they suffered two 6-2 defeats. Braughing winning with a + 22 shot advantage and Shenley winning with a + 18 shot advantage.
These results have seen the table really tighten up. Shenley are out in front with 14 points from 3 matches. Braughing occupy second spot with 10 points from their 2 games. Hertford Heath also have 10 points although they have played a game more and have inferior shots to Braughing. Little Hadham are currently 4th although their 6 points have been gained from just the one fixture.

Defending league 1 champions Stanstead Abbotts got their title defence back on track last night (01/12/14) with an 8-0 (+ 19 shots) home win over Bedmond.
The victory moves Stanstead Abbotts level on points with Symonds Green at the top of the table who still lead the way on shots. Bedmond failed to gain any ground on the teams above them and will be looking for their first win of the season at home to Essendon on Wednesday (03/12/14)

The 2014/2015 county triples were held at Ware Drill Hall yesterday (Sunday 30-11-2014). Twenty Two teams were competing for the title and it was Ian Carter, Jonathon Carter and David Danby of Braughing who took the title by defeating Jackie Harden, Roy Harden & Annette Luedtke (winners of the fours) of Little Hadham in an entertaining final.
Congratulations to Ian, Jonathon and David. A deserved victory and a first county title for Ian & Jonathon. David may have already been or may now have joined the select group (Craig Hearn, Mick Hearn, Pete Cook & Neil Tuckey) of winning all four county titles. Can anybody confirm who were the triples winners from Braughing in 1996 and the fours winners in 2007/2008?

Both teams remain in 3rd & 4th in the table. Stanstead Abbotts do move level on points with Essendon whilst Amwell ease two further points away from Bedmond

The county season performance sheet has now been updated. If you would like to see who has gained our points this season then go to
Results & Stats > County Season Performance
Ian Carter is the early pace setter on 21 points. Jason Ellis playing his first season for us is in second place on 20. The group is tightly packed behind with 6 players just two points behind on 19. As far down as 17th place is just 6 points off the top.
This is a clear indication that the whole team has performed well this season and we have not just been relying on one or two teams to pick up points for us. Let's hope that this continues throughout the season
