Hertfordshire played their third ECCBA league fixture of the season yesterday (18-01-15) at home to Cambridgeshire at the Ware Drill Hall.
The final score was Herts. 17 (138) – 19 (140) Cambs. A very close game as the final score reflects. Our first defeat of the season means we have fallen to 2nd place in the league and now trail Suffolk by 9 points who are our next opponents when we visit them on the 15th February.

The county season performance has now also been updated. This can be found under ;
Results & Stats > County Season Performance
Ian Carter after picking up 5 points on Sunday remains in 1st place on 26 points. Jason Ellis is in 2nd place, just two points behind on 24. Five playes are then just a further point back on 23 (David Danby, Sandra Gammage, Jacqui Harris, Marilyn Cook & Pete Cook). Amazinlgy just 3 points further back covers all the way down to 18th place. A clear indication of how well we are performing as a team so far this season.

Result from the 2nd division.
Hertford Heath defeat Little Hadham 6-2 (+10 shots in their favour) to move to the top of the league.
It looks like home form is going to be vital in the 2nd division with nobody suffering a home defeat as yet. Hertford Heath lead the way with 16 points from their 4 matches. Shenley are in 2nd place with 14 points from the same number of games.
Braughing and Little Hadham have ground to make up as they have 10 and 8 points. Although they do have games in hand as they have only played 2 matches each.
