Essendon hosted Stanstead Abbotts last night in a 1st division match. With both teams having made good starts to the season (both undefeated) it always looked like being a close match. The fours were split one game each, Stanstead Abbotts managed to win both pairs games. Therefore, the final score was 2-6 (points) in Stanstead Abbotts favour. 28-28 (shots).
The result sees Stanstead Abbotts move 17 points clear at the top of the first division, although they have played two games more than both Essendon and the defending champions Symonds Green. Results and league tables have been updated and can be found by in the below sections of the website;

Hertford Heath of the 2nd division were looking to pull off an upset against the 1st division leaders Stanstead Abbotts in their
1st leg of the SCAPA Cup. Hertford Heath won both the triples and fours but Stanstead Abbotts hit back to win the singles and pairs.
The final result finished 4-4 (points) 29-38 (shots) in Stanstead Abbotts favour. Stanstead Abbotts will be at home for the second leg later in the month.

Hertfordshire played their second game of the ECCBA league season at home to Bedfordshire on Sunday at the Ware Drill Hall.

Parsonage drew at home last night with Stanstead Abbotts. The 4 points is enough to move them off the bottom and above Braughing, Stanstead Abbotts extend their lead at the top of the table but Symonds green (1) and Essendon (2) both have games in hand.
The final result was 4-4 (points) parsonage +5 shots. The league table will be updated shortly
