Member Posts: 17 | An age old topic I know but what are the selection committees chances of improving results if we don't play more often together and take better advantage of home matches? Do we just accept where we are in the scheme of things and enjoy our days out?

Good point, it couldn't hurt to get a bit of continuity. Even if the Drill Hall proved to be too expensive to hire we could always use a club which accommodates 3 carpets

I still think this is a good idea. After the result and team spirit we showed on Sunday think we need to ensure we meet fairly regularly so that we can keep that togetherness and practise bowling together.

Member Posts: 17 | As far as I'm aware we are the only member of the 6 counties that doesn't have a practice prior to a match. We need to address this in my opinion!

With us having our best league season ever and actually in with a chance of winning the league with just two games to go should we be trying to organise a practise session before the Cambridgeshire game?

As they say practise makes perfect, but where to go? I guess the drill hall is too expensive just for a practise session.
