What does everybody think to us hosting an open competition?

Would we get enough players from our own county to support a competetion? With numbers down on our closed competitions, how can we encourage more people to play in this kind of event?

Just make sure you pick a date players from outside the county can come to ie. not a county game, or one of their own closed competitions. Players will come especially to a 'new' venue.

I'll get a team together if I can to come. Anything to promote the game has to be good.

After our committee meeting last night it was decided that we would go ahead with the open tournament and make it a memorial tournament for Mick and Sandra Hearn who did so much for out county. I hope that everyone will support this event and we will get 40 teams (limited to 40 entries) participating. Look forward to receiving your entry Hammerthief :)

Entries are starting to come in for this event! Let's try and get the numbers up to as close to 40 as possible.

When we reach closing date (25th August) the draw will appear here first
